Schedule: 3p-3a, 7p-7a

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Active New York State Nursing License in good standing; ACLS, PALS certifications; 1:3 - 1:5 nurse/patient ratios; EMR EPIC; weekend and holiday rotations; ability to read strips; Drips; Vents; Hospitalist experience; NYS Designated Stroke Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a hospital emergency department.

• Administer medications, IV drips, and manage ventilated patients.

• Collaborate with hospital staff including charge nurses and hospitalists.

• Monitor patients’ conditions closely, including reading strips.

• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems.
