Traveling Sales Associate

The Traveling Sales Associate drives across our 15 locations (14 in Northwest MO and 1 in Elwood, KS) to provide on-site support. You will fill in for shift gaps or absences. The Sales Associate provides the support to the Management Team by providing products to all customers and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the Sales Associate works closely with the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and customers.

Daily duties include:

• Ensuring that all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively and appropriately with all staff members.
• Reacting to change productively and handling other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine.
• Supporting the mission statement and Core Values of Trexcon.
• Giving fast, friendly customer service.
• Promoting the Smart Rewards Program.
• Brewing coffee and cleaning fountain areas.
• Maintaining a clean parking lot (sweeping, hosing & picking up trash).
• Wiping down gas dispensers.
• Checking in vendors using the current scanning process.
• Restocking coolers and freezers.
• Sweeping & mopping floors.
• Stocking and cleaning roller grills.
• Stocking & fronting products on shelves.
• Cleaning and stocking fountain and coffee areas.
• Cleaning restrooms.
• Attending store team meetings.
• Bagging ice.
• Finalizing shift paperwork.
• Emptying trash containers inside and outside of the store.
• Checking in gas deliveries.
• Picking up outside trash.
• Cleaning sidewalks and parking lots.
• Cleaning donut case.
• Adhering to and performing duties as defined in the Restaurant Clerks job description if applicable.
• Accurately performing money transaction on the register.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.

Physical requirements of the position include:

• Requires prolonged standing.
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift at least 55 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
• Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.
• Requires travel.

Salary: $17.00 + depending on experience
