Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Circulating experience Description: Unit operates within a 50-mile radius rule. All candidates must submit a copy of their unexpired driver's license. Circulating experience is essential. The usual shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Expect 6 to 8 days of call per month. No weekends or holidays are required unless on call. Common procedures include general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty. Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week contract. Charting system used is TruBridge - Evident.
