Telemetry/Med-Surg - Registered Nurse

Job Title: MED-SURG/TELE Location: Globe, Arizona Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 4 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $62 - $67/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG/TELE for a temporary assignment in Globe, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a MED-SURG/TELE:

• Work night shift (7p-7a) in a Tele/Med-Surg setting with set schedules
• Provide RN-level patient care in Med-Surg, Telemetry, and/or Step Down units
• Maintain required experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry; Step Down experience preferred
• Operate EMR Meditech for clinical documentation and patient record management
• Utilize Alaris pumps for IV medication administration
• Manage medications using Omnicell dispensing system
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for Med-Surg/OBS and 1:4 for Step Down
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement with no exceptions
• Adhere to the 100-mile radius rule regarding permanent address proximity to facility
• Limit requested time off to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
• Be available to take call during times of low census in rotation with full-time staff
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
