Responsibilities

• Provide and manage anesthesia care autonomously for a high volume of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures.
• Conduct focused pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively.
• Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) through to safe discharge.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and complete clinical documentation.
• Work independently and efficiently to support a fast-paced outpatient workflow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia and current national certification by the NBCRNA .
• Valid and unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse in the state of North Carolina (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
• Significant prior experience as a CRNA is required to match the pace of an independent, high-volume GI center.
• Strong clinical skills and comfort working autonomously in an outpatient endoscopy setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
