Overview Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) - Travel Westwood, New Jersey, United States Start date: 09/08/2026 Duration: several weeks Weekly pay: 2,861 - 3,043 per week Shift: 5x8 Days Setting: hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit Onboarding note: Core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; orientation modules completed onsite during orientation (non-billable hours). Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,861 - 3,043 per week Schedule: 5x8 days Start date: 09/08/2026 Duration: travel assignment expected to last several weeks Setting: hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit Travel experience required; Siemens single-plane IR suite experience required Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures (angiography, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal) Handle vascular access (central lines, PICC, port placements) and ultrasound-guided access Operate fluoroscopy in a sterile field; maintain sterile technique and radiation safety Manage PACS/imaging equipment and documentation in the EHR; ensure accurate procedure notes Support department operations; lead the IR suite when needed and collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency and patient safety Requirements Active ARRT (R) certification and BLS Current New Jersey state license or compact license in hand at submission Minimum 5 years IR-specific experience; strong interventional IR background; able to run department independently Travel experience required; prior travel assignments preferred Siemens single-plane IR suite experience and Epic charting experience 50-mile radius restriction: outside 50 miles from the assignment location Benefits and Support Onboarding: core items/labs completed within 48 hours of contract signing Orientation: onsite modules completed during orientation (non-billable hours) Pre-approved time off: 1 day per posting Assignment coordination and support from the recruiter during the travel period Find more opportunities Find additional openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
