Sr. Business Systems Analyst - SharePoint

Salary: $128,960 - 140,192 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a comparable position, including 3+ years of practical SharePoint experience.
• Demonstrated background leading requirements-gathering workshops and overseeing complex SharePoint-driven initiatives.
• Experience building and deploying business workflows with SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, or similar automation platforms.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work well with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work onsite at least three days per week at the project location in San Jose, California.
• Preferred: SharePoint migration experience.
• Preferred: Experience creating and maintaining Power BI reports.
• Preferred: Familiarity with other project systems, such as Aconex, Unifier, Primavera P6, and helpdesk ticketing tools.

• Collect, analyze, and document business needs with stakeholders, then convert them into clear technical and functional specifications.
• Create, implement, and uphold SharePoint governance policies and standards across the program.
• Maintain compliance with corporate data security policies and best practices for data handling, security, sharing, and access management in SharePoint.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Power Platform.
• Develop and maintain business process flows, functional specifications, training materials, governance plans, and related documentation.
• Review existing SharePoint sites, including usage patterns, sharing and access controls, and gaps, then recommend SharePoint-based improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Lead or support the rollout of new SharePoint features and migration efforts.
• Design scalable, intuitive SharePoint sites, libraries, workflows, and web parts aligned with business requirements.
• Build, develop, and oversee automated workflows.
• Provide ongoing user support and training for SharePoint users across the organization.
• Act as a subject matter expert on SharePoint best practices, trends, and capabilities.
• Carry out other assigned tasks and support additional applications as needed.
