Assistant Nurse Manager

Department/Unit: Neurosciences & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) - D5N Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: $94,957.00 - $147,183.00 Responsibilities Coordinate, plan, and administer operations, financial and administrative duties in partnership with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division. Mentor professional caregivers in delivery of patient care and facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay. Provide visible leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff on the primary shift. Ensure competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly delivered to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the hospital’s mission, departmental/unit vision, and philosophy. Provide direction and support to unit-based staff and collaborate with other service and department leaders toward attainment of short- and long-term goals and objectives.
