Pharmacist

Pharmacists at Hannaford Supermarkets play a vital role in ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous service and assistance. They help prepare prescriptions, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure confidentiality of customer and company information. Pharmacists also assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, adhering to state and federal laws, and supporting company safety standards. They must be able to work with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple minor projects, and maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance. Pharmacists should have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong keyboard skills, effective time management, and the ability to multi-task in a stressful environment.

Qualifications include successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing, current national certification and state license, advanced certifications, and the ability to work in a team environment. Pharmacists should have open schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the desire and ability to learn all aspects of pharmacy operations.

Physical requirements include standing 100% of the shift, frequent/continuous use of hands to handle containers and manipulate pills/capsules, frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lb., and sufficient visual acuity and audio capability to process prescriptions and service customers.

Salary range is between $21.80 - $29.00 hourly.
