California Behavioral Care works with individuals with disabilities in the home and the community to help people reach their full potential in life skills.
As a Behavior Interventionist, you will work one on one with clients to implement our child-centric therapy model in home, school and/or community environments. In partnership with your clinical supervisor, you will incorporate each child’s unique interests into fun, play-based sessions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists clinical supervisor in implementing behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting for clients who may have behavioral needs
- Works closely with case supervisor to collect/record data on all programming during session with individual(s)
- Targeting goals to improve clients social/life skills
- Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or enrollment in a Bachelor of Arts or science program that is related to Child Development, Sociology, Psychology, or any other related fields
- special needs, psychology, or any other related fields
- Must have a reliable car, proof of auto insurance and a valid driver's license
- Multilingual language is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
