Spa Massage Therapist

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is looking for a full-time Spa Massage Therapist. We are currently looking for a passionate, talented massage therapist for our high-end spa and clientele. The job is part-time with the opportunity to become full time. Must have an active Florida Massage License. Job Duties Responsibilities: Provides excellent service for guests by maintaining the Marriott Brand standards. Understands and uses universal precautions when providing services. Reviews Health History forms carefully and assesses contraindications of the guest that may prevent service from taking place. Maintains the highest level of industry knowledge and has a complete understanding of all spa services, products, and retail. Performs all treatments on the service menu based on current certifications. Suggest to guests other beneficial treatments offered in the spa and salon. Recommend products for home use. Begins and ends all treatments on time. Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times. Work assigned schedule or coordinate coverage by completing ‘shift coverage’ forms. Must arrive on time for their assigned shifts. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures. Responsible for setting up treatment area, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all equipment, treatment room & linens for service use on a daily basis. The provider's break room should be cleaned weekly. Inform the Lead Provider Supervisor of product needs. All orders must be given by the 1 st of the month. Report any incident or accident to the Spa Supervisors or Spa Director. Understand the ingredients in products and can explain their benefits to the guests. Answer guest’s questions knowledgeably and professionally. Work closely with therapists, support staff, and leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations. Complete other duties assigned by the Spa Director Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Job Type: Part-Time with the opportunity to become Full Time. Looking for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay: Commission and Gratuity. Experience: One year experience preferred but not required.
