Senior Accountant: Climate Impact & Finance Leader

You’ll ensure our financial processes are accurate and efficient, supporting our mission to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Here’s what you’ll do: Handle daily accounting tasks (payments, reimbursements, journal entries). Provide excellent customer service to vendors, grantees, and colleagues. Collaborate with other teams to proactively solve problems. Maintain accurate monthly records through reconciliations and reviews. Contribute to tax reporting, audits, and other compliance requirements. Assist with year-end processes and system improvements. You’re a perfect fit if you have: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field (preferred). 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years in public accounting. Experience with daily accounting operations, data entry, and compliance. A knack for research and a desire to learn new things. Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite and Salesforce a plus). Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. A collaborative and self-motivated work style.
