Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: MS/Telemetry Nurse
- Location: Rome, NY
- Immediate start required
- Must be willing to float to step down and MS units
- Must have valid New York State (NYS) RN license
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Certification (before start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience required (will consider less if proficient with Cardizem drips, tele strips, etc.)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
- Strong IV skills necessary
- Confident in managing cardiac drips and reading EKG/telemetry strips
- Skilled in all types of wound care
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
- 8 additional hours of CEUs required as part of orientation
- Floating to MS required
