Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 25-bed critical access hospital. This role involves providing care for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients within a Medical/Surgical unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Contract Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Weekends Required: Every third weekend

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in Missouri or a compact license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med/Surg.
• Step down level experience is preferred.
• Basic Med Surg skills are required.

Additional Information

• Facility housing is available at a decreased rate for travelers.
• Local nurses are welcome to apply at the same rate.
• No radius restrictions are imposed on applicants.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed, but accommodation requests are considered based on scheduling preferences.
• Unit scrub color: Any.
