The future we build together.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredOne (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferredDepending on location may be required to be equipment certifiedAbility to recognize and read location, date and product codesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Ability to work independently and as a member of a teamFlexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignmentsDetail oriented with excellent follow up practicesImportant note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.ResponsibilitiesCleaning restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.Cleaning the exterior areas of the building, including windows, walkways, and emptying trash containers and receptacles per sanitation schedule.Sweeping and scrubbing the warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls in the warehouse and office areas per sanitation schedule.Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.Maintains a safe, clean, and tour ready facility.Assist maintenance techs as required and light maintenance activities such as painting.Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug free workplace.
