Job Description:

Join Pitney Bowes for a CDL A Truck Driver, 2nd shift at our Levittown, Pennsylvania Presort Services facility.

The hourly pay will be $28 paid weekly with the possibility of overtime.

Your 2nd shift work schedule will be 6:00PM – 4:00AM EST based off your route.

You will work 10 hours for 4 days. Your workdays will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You will be off work on Tuesday.

What You Will Do:

• Inspect assigned vehicles per the Pitney Bowes Presort Services pre-trip inspection guidelines and procedures daily. Report any defective findings to the Transportation Supervisor to be for repairs immediately.

• Maintain a daily driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops and cargo, or utilization of ELD system.

• Maintain pickup and delivery schedules meeting deadlines utilizing software tools.
• Keep vehicles and work areas clean.
• Know and understand safety and security precautions and follow company policies.
• Regular attendance is necessary.
• Use all required cell phone applications.

You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 21 years in age
• Valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
• Minimum of 6 months’ verifiable driving experience driving a tractor trailer (semi) truck with safe driving record
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodation.
• Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.

For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates. By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them. Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually. We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network, providing optimal postage savings.
