Job Summary The Business Systems Project Manager/Analyst leads business system implementations, technology projects, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. This position serves as a liaison between departments, leadership, and IT to evaluate systems, identify improvements, coordinate cross-functional projects, and support successful implementation of new systems and processes. The position tracks project progress, risks, and deliverables while providing regular status updates and recommendations to leadership.Hours and Wage Exempt salary positionStarting wage: $70,000-$92,500 per year, based on relevant years of experience, education, certifications, and comparison to other employees already in this roleDuties and Responsibilities Lead and coordinate business system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and other cross-functional projects from planning through completionDevelop and track project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and implementation strategiesEstablish project priorities and coordinate resources across departments to keep projects on scheduleIdentify project risks, roadblocks, and potential delays and develop solutions or escalate issues as appropriateMaintain accurate project documentation and provide visibility into project statusEnsure projects are completed within established timelines and organizational expectationsEvaluate current business systems, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvementCoordinate with IT regarding integrations, data flows and security considerations, infrastructure requirements and technical dependenciesSupport compliance and audit requirements through accurate documentation, system reviews, and process improvementsOversee systems, rollout, training and change managementManage vendors, integrations and SaaS partners Analyze the impact of proposed system changes on existing processes, employees, and departmentsResearch and evaluate potential systems, tools, and technology solutions to support organizational needsAssist with system configuration, testing, implementation, and user acceptance activities as neededIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, data accuracy, and user experienceSchedule and facilitate recurring project meetingsProvide regular updates regarding project progress, timelines, accomplishments, risks, challenges, and next steps for leadershipEscalate significant issues or changes in scope, budget, timeline, or resources to appropriate leadershipPerform other related duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating cross-functional projectsStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong meeting facilitation and presentation skillsExperience with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence toolsEducation and Experience Must be over the age of 18 years old Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered3+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, systems analysis, process improvement, or a related fieldPhysical Requirements Regularly required to sit for extended periods while performing computer-base work and attending meetings Ability to work with all types of freight including but not limited to hazardous materials, food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition and live animalsOccasionally required to lift, carry, push and pull lightweight materials or equipment associated with project implementations or system setup May periodically work in operational environments, including terminals, warehouses, docks, and transportation areasMay be exposed to moving equipment, vehicles, varying temperatures, noise, and other conditions commonly found in transportation and warehouse operationsBenefits Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and moreEEO and Affirmative Action Statement Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
