Golang Developer

Introduction

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated mid-level Developer to join our Engineering team. This team is responsible for system design and architecture, developing high-quality functions, and ensuring a seamless and smooth customer experience. The role also involves providing technical leadership and vision in the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of existing and new services in a multi-region configuration.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Golang
• Experience with gRPC/gRPC API Development and REST APIs
• 1-2 years of experience with AWS
• Good analytical skills
• Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Experience with EKS
• Prior experience in Automotive multimedia systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Design and develop REST & gRPC application program interfaces (APIs) and web services
• Create reusable frameworks/components for global delivery needs
• Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and design documentation
• Maintain Proto files for gRPC services
• Document work and engage in quality testing/validation for changes or improved features before release
• Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases
• Work on the AWS cloud platform, including EKS
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes
• Ensure API layer aspects for security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling
• Work with leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates
• Communicate well with team members and suppliers and work collaboratively
