Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to assess pain levels and mobility improvements, allowing for adjustments in treatment to meet evolving patient goals.
• Track patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment sessions and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Reassess patients periodically to modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with therapeutic objectives and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, pain management strategies, and the appropriate use of assistive devices to encourage self-management.
• Maintain currency in physical therapy practices by attending workshops, engaging with professional networks, and participating in relevant continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required. A Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Proficient in using technology and computer software to manage patient records and treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility in adapting treatment techniques to meet diverse patient needs.
• No prior work experience is necessary; however, a passion for patient care and a commitment to personal growth in the field of physical therapy are essential.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in orthopedic physical therapy, either through internships or clinical rotations, is highly valued. Familiarity with various rehabilitation techniques and patient management strategies will enhance your ability to deliver effective care.

Compensation and Benefits
