Take full responsibility for the quality of the product and line efficiency* Properly diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine the necessary repairs, and restore malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delay* Handle pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes and cartons as required* Record product and equipment inspection to ensure quality production* Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion* Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace* Work closely with supervisors and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost control advancements**What You'll Need*** High school diploma or equivalent* Journeyman Mechanic* 2+ years as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment**About Silgan Containers**We are the largest metal food packaging producer in North America, committed to sustainability and innovation.
