Provide a safe environment for both employees and ridership. Reviews stock availability list against usage reports and anticipated needs. Compiles and analyzes records. Conducts investigations and prepares reports. Other duties as assigned. Responsibility: Supervises a group of subordinate supervisors in structure group specialties required to maintain, install, inspect, test, alter and repair Facilities' assets. Education and Experience: Five years of full-time satisfactory experience with a major railroad or transit authority; at least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. Desired Skills : Proficient in the use of EAM Understanding of construction processes and methodologies Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and navigate specifications Strong communication and analytical skills Welding, iron, and electrical trades preferred Other Information: Pursuant to the New York State Public Officers Law & the MTA Code of Ethics, all employees who hold a policymaking position must file an Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure (FDS) with the NYS Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government (the “Commission”).
