Project Financial Analyst II

Project Financial Analyst II Project Financial Analyst II supports the Business Unit Controller in recording revenue, loading budgets, drafting variance analysis, forecasting, and project close out reconciliations. The role also attends project meetings and monitors project performance. Core Responsibilities Record revenue each month for Unit, Fee for Service and Fixed Price contracts. Load project budgets into Oracle/Revenue Wizard and maintain project data. Draft monthly actual versus budget/forecast variance analysis and reports. Prepare monthly forecasting of financial results (backlog). Prepare project close out reconciliations. Review Work Orders and Change Orders for bonus or anomalies. Capture, assess and consolidate results; draft key reports such as annual cost and expense budgets, cost rates, utilization, headcount, revenue backlog analysis and gross profit. Update predefined reports and attend project meetings as needed. Monitor overall project health including revenues, gross profit, receivables, unbilled amounts and reconciliations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field. 0–2 years of related experience. Pharmaceutical or CRO experience preferred. Strong English proficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with accounting software packages; Oracle Finance preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive data. Physical Requirements The position requires occasional movement around the office, ability to lift light to medium weights (10-35 pounds), prolonged computer use, and frequent communication with colleagues.
