Shift: 12-Hour Nights

Hours per Week: 36

Employment Type: Contract

Licensure/Certs: Bls, Nrp, Nihss (required)

Experience: 1+ years Nicu experience or higher

Pay & Benefits:

Pay rate: $63.65/hour

Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit

What You'll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care for Level 3 Nicu patients, including pre-term and surgical cases

Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs with bedside telemetry

Administer medications and IV therapies using Alaris pumps and Pyxis dispensers

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including RT, Nurse Practitioners, PT, OT, and Crna

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in Meditech Expanse Emr

Follow facility protocols for infection control, patient safety, and quality care

Support and educate families of infants in the Nicu

Participate in on-unit orientation and ongoing training

What You Need:

Valid Louisiana Rn license (or compact state license accepted)

Minimum 1 year Nicu or higher-level neonatal experience

Bls, Nrp, Nihss certifications (or willing to obtain)

Strong clinical skills in neonatal care and telemetry monitoring

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and handle acute patient situations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
