What to expect in this role

• 
  Paid training: We offer a mix of infield shadowing and classroom training. Youll learn dryervent systems, components and tools in the classroom, then shadow a lead technician for several weeks until youre ready to work independently.
• Independent work: Once trained, youll manage your own schedule of 46 service calls per day. Your day typically begins between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
• Active, handson work: Set up ladders, climb onto pitched roofs, work in attics, crawlspaces and behind dryers. Its like a light fullbody workout every day, so youll need to be comfortable with physical activity.
• Customer interaction: Treat each home with care and respect. Youll communicate with homeowners, explain what youre doing and answer their questions.
• Documentation: Use our payroll app to clock in/out, and scheduling software to view schedules and record each job with photos and brief summaries.

Schedule & requirements

• 
  Fulltime, daytime hours most days with occasional long days (1014 hours) or night jobs, depending on the project.
• Occasional Saturdays are required when customer needs demand.
• Flexibility for overtime: We go until the job is doneour customers expect thorough work.

What we are looking for

• 
  Hands-on experience: Previous trade or mechanical experience (construction, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscaping or similar) is helpful.
• Physical Requirements: This role involves ongoing physical activity. Candidates should be comfortable with hands-on tasks, including using ladders, working at heights, and navigating tight spaces.
• Comfort with tools: Youre proficient with basic hand and power tools and enjoy working with your hands.
• Mechanical aptitude & problemsolving skills
• Attention to detail: You take pride in precise measurements, clean workmanship and following safety guidelines. You work efficiently without cutting corners and follow safety protocols.
• Customer service: Youre friendly, respectful and leave every homeowner feeling confident about their dryervent system.
• Independence & communication: You can work independently while also communicating effectively with team members and clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent and valid drivers license
