Sr. Quality Control Inspector

Senior Quality Control InspectorJoin a collaborative quality team focused on ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. This role is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products while supporting quality system activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance by conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, supporting manufacturing operations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality throughout the product lifecycle.Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished goods.Utilize metrology and inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs, vision systems, and other measurement tools.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).Review device history records and quality documentation to support product release activities.Conduct line clearances, labeling inspections, and manufacturing verification activities.Support environmental monitoring, compliance audits, equipment validation, and product testing programs.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve inspection processes and quality systems.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.High school diploma or equivalent required.6+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Working knowledge of quality system regulations and good documentation practices.Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Experience in a cleanroom, manufacturing, or regulated production environment is preferred.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys hands-on inspection work, problem-solving, and contributing to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced, regulated environment.Founded in 1998, Glaukos Corporation is an ophthalmic pharmaceutical and medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing novel therapies for the treatment of glaucoma, corneal disorders, and retinal diseases.Our mission at Glaukos is to truly transform vision by pioneering novel, dropless therapies that can meaningfully advance the standard of care and improve the lives of patients suffering from chronic, sight-threatening eye diseases.Innovation is at the core of everything we do, and we are resolute in our commitment to challenge conventional thinking with new treatment alternatives that are supported by real science, robust clinical evidence, and an unrelenting focus on patients.Our constant pursuit of game-changing technologies that disrupt legacy treatment paradigms is encapsulated in the Glaukos mantra "We'll Go First," which articulates our willingness to take chances, our determination to forge new ground, and our commitment to continuous improvement in all that we do.Our company completed an initial public offering in June of 2015, and our shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "GKOS".
