The pay range is $115,000.00 - $206,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. Learn more about Target here. You will help partners build consumer-centric strategies and activations. As a Senior Insights Manager, you will report to the Director, Macro Consumer Insights and have responsibility for developing and executing immersions that bring Target leaders closer to guests and consumers through experiences across the US that ultimately help translate into better strategies and decisions for Target. You will be responsible for all phases of an in-market immersion including set up, logistics, content development, business and agency partner management, as well as traveling on the immersions and supporting post-debriefs. You will be the primary contact for internal partners and will identify the appropriate insights, business and agency teams to execute the immersion. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. Experience designing, planning, or executing in-market learning experiences, immersions, consumer closeness programs, qualitative fieldwork, ethnographic research, or similar experiential research engagements. Strong foundational knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, with particular emphasis on qualitative methods such as ethnography, anthropology, focus groups, consumer interviews, and observational research. Ability to synthesize consumer insights, competitive retail observations, focus group learnings, external expert perspectives, and market context into compelling narratives and actionable implications for senior leaders. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities across agency partners, business partners, insights peers, senior stakeholders, content development, data needs, and the overall in-market experience. Strong attention to detail in planning and executing complex immersion logistics, including travel, agendas, store and market visits, consumer focus groups, expert sessions, materials, run-of-show documents, stakeholder communications, and contingency planning. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, drive alignment, and manage quality and timeliness with research agency partners, external vendors, internal business partners, insights peers, and cross-functional leaders. Comfort traveling domestically and supporting leaders in-market, including managing the flow of the agenda, adapting in real time, and ensuring the experience delivers against learning objectives. This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
