We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer / Staff Accountant to join our team!
Full time
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Estate & Trust tax returns
- Assist with year-end financial statements and tax planning
- Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns, sales tax returns and estimated tax payments
- Maintain organized and accurate client records
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure timely and accurate filings
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience preparing business and individual tax returns
- Proficiency in Intuit software including ProSeries and QuickBooks , is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work under deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- EA designation a plus
