Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Experienced Maintenance Mechanic I Location: Steel/Iron Warehouse – Newnan, GA We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform basic preventive maintenance, assist with machinery and building repairs, and support the Maintenance team under direct supervision. Requirements High school diploma 1+ year maintenance/machine repair experience Basic electrical, hydraulic, control system, and welding knowledge Understanding of safety regulations and hazardous material handling Must be 18+ and able to pass a drug test Skills Ability to read blueprints/technical diagrams Basic computer and math skills Able to follow instructions and identify safety issues Comfortable using precision tools and manual tools Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility Assist with repairs on machinery, tools, forklifts, and systems Maintain maintenance records and order parts Keep work area clean and follow all safety procedures Benefits Weekly pay (direct deposit or pay card) Medical, dental, and vision benefits Temp-to-hire with growth opportunities Please Note that each candidate must have reliable transportation to Newnan, GA.
