About the Position
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation – Day Shift – Scottsbluff, NE Relocation Candidates Welcome
We are seeking licensed Occupational Therapists for a 13-week contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. There are three openings available: two in inpatient rehabilitation and one in an outpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will provide occupational therapy services to support patients in improving functional abilities, independence, and daily living skills. Candidates must hold an active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license and current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients' functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Help patients improve mobility, coordination, independence, and daily living skills.
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes.
Float to other units, departments, or patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs.
Maintain facility performance and quality-of-care expectations.
Requirements
Requirements
Active Occupational Therapist license in Nebraska.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Ability to work in an inpatient or outpatient setting, depending on the assigned position.
Flexibility to float to other departments as needed.
Schedule & Assignment Details
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed by day.
Holiday Coverage: Not required.
Openings: 2 inpatient and 1 outpatient.
Overtime: Applies after 40 hours per week
Facility Performance Policy: The facility may terminate the contract immediately if a traveler does not meet its performance expectations.
