Line CookThe Club at Crested Butte, located in Crested Butte, CO, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Role: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour General Purpose: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing various food products in the embodiment of the Club at Crested Butte's standards of service and member experience. Essential Duties:Cook on the line and prepare food items before and during service as needed.Maintain quality control for all products, including daily monitoring of freshness.Follow recipes and/or product directions for proper food preparation.Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart.Prepare appropriate equipment for cooking.Operate kitchen utensils and/or equipment used for weighing, measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, grinding, stirring, slicing, assembling, and kneading of food products.Follow proper food-handling procedures, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product temperatures.Clean and sanitize the workstation and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.Physical Demands:Physical activity may include long periods (6?8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and scooping.Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.Noise level can be moderate to loud.Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.Occasionally works in extreme cold or heat (non-weather); may work in outdoor weather conditions.Education/Experience:Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience.Work Requirements:Ability to work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.Possesses high ethical standards.Strong communication and organizational skills.This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.Benefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off – Sick leave and leaves of absence, in accordance witho Colorado (CO) – Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces ActEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon: Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
