Clubhouse Assistant | Cattail Crossing Golf Course Department: Parks & Recreation Department | City of Watertown Hourly Wage: $15.00 – 16.50, DOE Location: Human Resources Department PO Box 910, 20 N. Maple, Watertown, SD 57201 A part-time, seasonal Clubhouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with daily operations, customer service, cash transactions, merchandise displays, and other administrative tasks. The position may involve managing tee times, handling payments, cleaning, and providing information to patrons. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned. Efficient and friendly customer service throughout the clubhouse. Take orders and answer questions with clarity and understanding. Properly handle payments, make appropriate change, and process POS transactions and end-of-shift accounting. Accurately perform open/close process for the clubhouse. Monitor guest check-ins prior to play. Respond to inquiries and make tee-times, both in person and over the phone. Maintain and organize inventory in storage and display areas. Sanitize the workspace, following proper food and product handling requirements. Work with a variety of people in an efficient, calm and patient manner while in a fast-paced environment. Properly set up and tear down before and after each event. Work nights and weekends and extended hours as needed. Consistent and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts is required. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license. High school diploma or GED. Preferred qualifications: Previous retail experience. Experience handling cash transactions.
