Pediatric School And In-Home Nursing Opportunity

Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN to provide one-on-one nursing care for a young child in the Rockton area.

During the school year, you'll accompany your patient to school, located approximately 20 miles from the child's home. When school is not in session, including scheduled breaks and days off, care will be provided in the child's home.

• MondayFriday
• 7:00 AM4:00 PM

What you'll do:

As your patient's one-on-one nurse, you'll provide the skilled nursing care and support they need to safely participate in school and their daily routine.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care throughout the shift
• Accompany and support your patient while attending school
• Provide care in the child's home when school is not in session
• Monitor your patient's condition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Provide case-specific skilled nursing care
• Respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Communicate with the family, school staff, and Castor clinical team
• Complete required nursing documentation

What you'll need:

• Active Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Compassionate and dependable approach to care
• Interest in working one-on-one with a pediatric patient
• Comfort accompanying the child to a school located approximately 20 miles from the home
