Job Description
TITLE
RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float

SCHEDULE
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; holiday rotation required.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 3 shifts per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Illinois nursing license required if applicable.
- Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS; Telemetry competency; IV start
- Preferred: NIHSS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor patients' telemetry data and recognize/manage dysrhythmias.
- Perform IV starts and manage peripheral and central lines.
- Interpret ABGs and administer oxygen therapies including HFNC.
- Provide care for feeding tubes and manage wound care.
- Collaborate with rapid response and code teams as needed.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week.
- Fit testing required (no facial hair that interferes).
- Free parking available.
- Scrub color: Navy blue.
