The Continuous Improvement Engineer is the most active promoter of the continuous improvement culture across the site.The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace. How you create impactYou will manage the site's Continuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity, including the management of Kaizen activities and Lean Six projectsPresent project portfolios resulting from the Value Stream Analysis activityAlign projects and CI activity to meet both Production System Savings targets and the site's productivity improvement targets.Ensure savings for the site are validated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintainedYou will support the development of productivity management tools within the site to ensure measurement and monitoring of productivity at process and site levelsSupport operations in the development of Kuehne and Nagel Excellence levels in the site from Blue through GoldYou will work with the National MBB in the development and coaching of the Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green BeltsThis position is a leader of process not a people leader roleWhat we would like you to bringMust be a US citizenDegree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experienceLean Six Black Belt or Green BeltLed 5-7 completed DMAIC or equivalent projectsContinuous Improvement experience for 5 -10 years5-10 years in a Warehousing or Aerospace environmentProject Management experience for 2- 5 yearsThis position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
