Our Reading area client is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team! Express is offering career opportunities for those qualified for and interested in this position!

Payroll Assistant

Pay: $18/hour

Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday

Benefits: Holiday and Vacation Pay, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, 401(k), and more!

Location: Reading, PA

Responsibilities of the Payroll Asssitant:

Processing weekly and biweekly timesheets manually into payroll system for 100+ employees
Receives personnel reports with W-4 and direct deposit information, enters job title, department, and payroll data into the accounting
system, and checks entries for accuracy
Ensures that payments are accurate and timely
Enters relevant employee data and changes into payroll system
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Payroll Assistant:

1-2 Years of experience of payroll processing experience
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to use Microsoft Suite programs
