Serve as a Pharmacist in a well-established assisted living facility pharmacy supporting resident care just outside Milwaukee. This per diem opportunity offers a supportive environment ideal for new graduates and seasoned professionals alike, including semi-retired pharmacists. The role involves verifying prescriptions, performing data entry, conducting final script reviews, and providing minimal patient counseling in a collaborative setting with a pharmacy team composed of one full-time pharmacist and four technicians per shift.

Location:

• Cedar Community – Cedar Lake Campus, West Bend, WI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Two shift options available:• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (preferred for opening duties)• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (includes closing duties)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and review prescriptions for assisted living residents
• Enter data with precision into the Rx30 software system (training provided prior to start)
• Conduct minimal but essential patient counseling
• Perform opening duties on the earlier shift; closing duties on the later shift alongside pharmacy technicians

Qualifications:

• Active and clean Wisconsin Pharmacist license required
• Open to new graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Details:

• Script volume is moderate, around 20-30 prescriptions per day plus approximately 500 electronic verifications
• Supportive team environment with an experienced pharmacist and technicians each shift
• Contract type: Signed; coverage needed for a medical leave of absence during the month of September with some flexibility on start/end dates
