About the Role:
Our company is looking for a sharp and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our team in Walworth County, WI. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Minimum of 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• CPA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred
• Proficiency in SAGE 100 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
