Electrophysiology Technologist
This position is located in Washington State.
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30) with variable days off.
The Electrophysiology Technologist provides support for patients undergoing diagnostic electrophysiology and ablation procedures, including the implantation of coronary devices such as pacemakers and ICDs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implantation of pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, and conduct emergency procedures as needed.
- Perform mapping and ablation for various cardiac arrhythmias including AFib and VT.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as Biosense Webster CARTO and Abbott Precision mapping systems.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring sterile environments and compliance with safety protocols.
- Support device management, including IABP and Impella devices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrophysiology technologist.
- Must hold ARRT Radiology certification or CCI RCIS certification.
- Washington State Radiology Tech License or Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist License is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
