This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a thriving organization with the potential for a permanent position.Job ResponsibilitiesReview and transmit medical claims using the practice's electronic health records (EHR) system and clearing house.Monitor and adjust rejected claim reports for resubmission to insurance carriers.Download and post claim payments and denials using insurance carrier explanation of payments (EOPs).Research and resubmit open balances within insurance carrier filing limits.Investigate denials and claim status through carrier websites and direct contact.Distribute patient billing statements and monitor the patient portal for payments.Initiate overpayment refunds and repayments when necessary.Serve as the primary contact for vision and medical claims.Support the corporate manager in maximizing claim collection rates.RequirementsHigh school diploma.Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.Proficient in medical billing and coding.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.Effective communication skills (verbal, written, listening, presentation).PreferencesExperience working in multiple doctor practices.Experience with multiple insurance carriers and understanding of their claim requirements.Proven ability to identify issues and solve problems.Don't miss this opportunity to advance your career in a supportive and innovative environment.
