Product Demonstrator Part Time

Description The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down products, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers to demonstrate products professionally, and maintain a consistent professional appearance. Responsibilities Obtain adequate knowledge of the products represented. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner. Effectively communicate product features and benefits. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile, safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with client visit preparation and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives. Complete expense reports per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & PDF). Qualifications Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; preferred one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device and company internal systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required. Physical Demands: The associate will regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment: Retail store environment, limited travel. Physical Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming, ensuring neatness and adherence to the retailer dress code. Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required. Work Hours This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, although the company reserves discretion to change the role as business needs evolve.
