Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Day Shift

Location: Washington State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required, with block scheduling.

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide comprehensive respiratory care, including floor care, emergency response, and rapid response team duties. The position requires a Washington state license and is open to first-time travelers.

Responsibilities:

• Administer aerosol therapy and manage ventilators.
• Perform tracheostomy care and management.
• Respond to codes and participate in rapid response activities.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage emergency respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience preferred.
• Experience in a Level I or II trauma center is preferred.
