Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site 2 days/week) Job Duration: Contract through June 2022 + extensions

Job Overview:

• The candidate selected for this position must be a highly motivated, self-starter, independent worker with high initiative and a balanced hybrid of skills and abilities in data analysis, training documentation, customer service, and business analysis.
• The selected candidate will be working directly with customers and colleagues to ensure a professional delivery of service. The candidate will be a member of a collaborative team performing a variety of duties at a fast pace and will be responsible for gathering and processing customer requirements as well as keeping up-to-date project documentation. The candidate will not have direct reports.
• The candidate will perform as a system administrator in our Project Portfolio Management system and work with the team to assist users with maintaining information. The candidate will also write training and structural documentation, analyze data and processes, and organize work efforts.
• The candidate must know how to analyze data and create visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Excel and PowerBI. The candidate must be able to create, and maintain SharePoint sites and workflows, while balancing additional work efforts as assigned. The candidate must have excellent communication and organization skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to perform with little guidance.
• The candidate will facilitate incoming and outgoing communication, scheduling meetings, as well as drafting and analyzing documents. They will provide immediate follow-up on tasks.

Job Duties:

• Create and maintain future and existing dashboards in PowerBI.
• Analyze and validate data.
• Draft or update structural documentation including Methods, Practices and Program Frameworks, etc.
• Aid in the maintenance of the Project Delivery Methodology document and supporting SharePoint and FDOT.gov resources.
• Verify all work related to project management is compliant with F.A.C. 60GG-1.
• Produce metrics and analytics for a variety of subjects and data sources.
• Respond promptly to Executive request for research and data analysis.
• Participate in process engineering to include analysis, gathering of requirements, cross-functional flow charts, Quick Reference Guides.
• Consult with users, and collaborate with management, and other staff on issues requiring further work or investigation.
• Review, Rewrite, and/or revise documents as needed; Develop, maintain, and deliver end-user documentation and presentations as requested.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and Sherpa for the Technology Proposal Tracker. Assist as needed in the Transportation Technology Intake Process.
• Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements to support the design and implementation of effective and innovative solutions.
• Develop and run analytical reports related to team activities, project production, and backlog items using Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas) to assist in portfolio management and other resources.
• Identify manual processes ready for automation and plan and/or implement the automation.
• Assists with the creation, maintenance, and support of various SharePoint sites, lists, document libraries and workflows via Power Automate.
• Produce analytical reports on Transportation Technology activities.
• Develop business and system analysis and design models.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Manage scheduled work for timeliness and issues.
• Multitask several assignments at once.
• Knowledgeable of strategic planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field, 2 years of experience can substitute for education
• Experience in constructing workflow diagrams and cross-functional flow charts. Required.
• Experience in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites and workflows. Required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Microsoft’s Power Platform, specifically Power BI and Power Automate is highly desired.
• Experience working on agile project teams is highly desired.
• Experience assisting with small projects is highly desired.
• Graphic design experience is highly desired.
• Candidates with prior experience maintaining and configuring Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas) will be given preference.
