Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician , you will play a critical role in producing high-quality precision metal components for a leading precision manufacturing company. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing who are comfortable working with production machinery, hand and power tools, and precision measuring equipment. You'll work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment where quality and continuous improvement are top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
• Perform fabrication, machining, assembly, and finishing operations on metal components.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and gauges, to verify product quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Perform routine machine adjustments and report equipment or process issues as needed.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, drill presses, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• One to three years of experience in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience working with and around industrial machinery.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

The base pay range for this position is $39,520 annually , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
