Hibiscus Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian credentialed and authorized to practice in Florida to deliver evidence-based nutrition care in a fully remote setting. Independent contractor (1099), remote, flexible scheduling. This engagement may convert to a full-time employed position based on caseload growth and mutual fit. You will provide individualized nutrition counseling to people with or at risk for cardiometabolic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity. Working within a digital care environment, you will interpret user data from the Hibiscus Health platform, build medical nutrition therapy plans, and support behavior change through ongoing coaching and education. Scope of Services Conduct one-on-one telehealth nutrition consultations Develop and document individualized medical nutrition therapy and care plans Support patients managing diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, cardiometabolic risk, and general wellness Help users set realistic goals, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to improve outcomes and experience Escalate clinical concerns according to established protocols Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation Coordinate with clinicians and care coordinators as clinically appropriate Adhere to all state licensure, credentialing, and payer requirements Required Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Active, unrestricted license or certification to practice in Florida, and eligibility to provide telehealth services to patients Current professional liability (malpractice) coverage, or willingness to obtain it Strong foundation in dietetics and nutrition, with the ability to apply current evidence-based guidelines to cardiometabolic health Proficiency in medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome Experience in nutritional counseling, including motivational interviewing and other behavior-change techniques with diverse populations Skills in weight management, including sustainable, personalized meal plans and lifestyle interventions Comfort interpreting platform-generated and self-reported health data and translating it into practical nutrition guidance Excellent communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to engage users across varying levels of health literacy Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload Nice to Have Additional state licenses beyond FL Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential Prior telehealth or remote clinical experience, including comfort with digital health platforms and electronic documentation Experience using Healthie or a similar EHR Background in cardiometabolic or primary care settings, population health, or employer-sponsored wellness programs #J-18808-Ljbffr
