Surveillance Officer

Duties and Responsibilities Observe activities that occur in all areas of CGT. Report all violations of gaming, safety, health, and/or policy and procedural violations that occur. Operate closed circuit television, video recording devices, and remote‑control devices. Use a computer and associated hardware to complete documentation. Provide and maintain surveillance operation to protect company assets and licenses. Maintain thorough knowledge of CGT’s policies and procedures. Maintain thorough knowledge of gaming regulations. Accurately and confidentially observe and report all violations of law, regulations, and procedures. Remain impartial and keep confidential all actions and behavior observed. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Sign in and out vehicles and keysets when required by technicians. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Excellent communication skills. Must be quality conscious and flexible. Must have or apply for and receive a Gamimg Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board. At least six (6) months of previous experience preferred. Must own a weapon and have a valid CCW. Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with this job description. Must be able to move about intermittently during working hours including standing, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling without accommodation. Must be able to tolerate high noise levels and sit for prolonged periods of time, and work long periods of time sequestered in a dark room. Must maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
