TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Auburn, New York, 13021!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience required. 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required. License: Active state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS required. BLS required. NIHSS required. PALS required. Must-Have: No disciplinary issues on nursing license. Interview must be conducted via phone or virtual. Every other weekend availability is required. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care to patients in the Emergency Room. They will interpret and manage heart rhythm changes. They will care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues. Responsibilities include administering blood products and managing central lines. They will start and maintain IVs, administer IV sedation and vasopressors. Care for stroke patients will be part of their duties. They will also care for ventilated patients and manage BiPAP/CPAP. The nurse will interpret arterial blood gases and follow isolation precautions. Performing triage is also required. The role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. All time-off requests must be submitted with the application. No time off will be approved after the offer. The traveler must arrange coverage for any additional shifts if needed.
