Retail Engagement Specialist

Job Type: Regular Location: Market - AMRET - NY - New York 286 Schedule: Monday – Friday Pay: $25 per hour plus 10% monthly bonus opportunity Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate merchants on client financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. What This Role Looks Like Day‑to‑day field‑based position with daily travel within your assigned territory, approximately 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Tasks include in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up. Independent work style supported by leadership and training teams. Benefits and Perks No weekends required. Requirements Personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Excellent presentation, problem‑solving, and customer service skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
