What You'll Do: * Independent Practice: Utilize your nursing skills in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of patient needs and situations. * Complex Care: Deliver both routine and complex care while focusing on long-range goals and plans. * Clinical Leadership: Lead with confidence by making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks to manage clinical situations effectively. * Comprehensive Nursing Care: - Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care. - Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. * Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. * Documentation: Keep accurate records of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. * Patient Education: Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. * Experience: Minimum of 1 year in related nursing specialty preferred. * Licenses & Certifications: - Certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) required. - Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required (AHA only). - RN License in the state of TX or compact required. * Additional Requirements: - New RNs to attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Complete initial onboarding requirements and annual competency verification. - Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting preferred.
