Overview Respiratory Therapist - Registered | Viroqua, WI, United States — Travel assignment in a critical access hospital. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,900–$1,947 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 3 nights per week, with every other weekend (Friday–Sunday) and holiday rotation. This assignment takes place in a hospital setting focused on acute care needs, including neonatal support. Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses; document outcomes and communicate changes to the team. Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as necessary and appropriate for the patient care plan. Educate patients and families on administering treatments and using respiratory equipment safely and effectively. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment status, and patient responses; ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Requirements Active Wisconsin license to practice respiratory therapy. NICU experience required. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every other weekend (Fri–Sun) and holiday rotation as part of the assignment. Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting for respiratory therapy.
