Automotive Billing Clerk - Corporate Office - Chesapeake

We are actively hiring an Automotive Retail Billing/Capping/Inventory Clerk. Experience with ADP is a plus, but we’ll train the right candidate. This role involves various automotive accounting functions and requires knowledge of automotive F&I processes. Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and 1–2 years of similar experience are essential. Administrative experience and/or data entry skills are a plus. Responsibilities Ensure all necessary paperwork is in the deals Look for title if trade is available Send contracts to banks Verify gross profit Bill out wholesale items Create lien payoffs and send them to banks Process rebates Finalize deals Maintain retail delivery reporting Run various reports Assist with vehicle inventory control and maintain accurate records Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent experience One to two years of automotive bookkeeping/accounting experience Skilled at using automotive accounting software such as ADP/Reynolds and Reynolds Strong self‑motivation and ability to work in a team environment Highly organized and detail‑oriented Previous experience preferred Impressive work ethic Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills Strong computer and internet skills Neat, clean, and professional appearance Physical Demands This is an in‑person position.
